Drumgarry is a fantastic place for outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and canoeing. The view from the balcony is amazing, and I enjoyed exploring the area. Towels were provided, and Eilean Donan Castle is just 50 km away.
Leaving Drumgarry was the only downside. What a shame!

The scenery was absolutely superb, offering breathtaking views that were truly unforgettable. The house itself was very cosy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly liked the fact that there were three bedrooms, which was perfect for my family of six. Additionally, the homeowner, Kyle, was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing us with valuable advice and guidance throughout our stay. One of the highlights for me was operating the coal heating system, which was a new and enjoyable experience.
We encountered a few drawbacks during our stay. Secondly, the chimney needed sweeping, resulting in a smelly and messy coal fire that we ultimately chose not to use.

The location and views from the holiday home were absolutely stunning. Waking up to the incredible skyline from the main bedroom was a real treat. The house was spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely gas hob. It was great to have both a bath and a shower available. The proximity to the Armadale ferry terminal and being only an hour away from Portree was very convenient. The local pub right on the doorstep was also a bonus, serving delicious food.
One thing that would have been nice is to have a picnic bench or outdoor table to make the most of the sunshine and the beautiful view. the doorways in the house had slightly higher joins between rooms, which led to a few bumped toes initially.
